The options available for the jurors to choose from were:
(1) violations of the Federal Election Campaign Act otherwise known as FECA;
(2) the falsification of other business records; or
(3) violation of tax laws.
They did not have to be unanimous on which 'other crime' they chose.
The jury have done their job, now it's over to the appeals courts and/or SCOTUS.
The process proceeds, the spotlight is certainly on the process and that's a good thing for all.
