I have to say waking up to a dogs breakfast isn't my cup of tea.

I had a great day yesterday celebrating the good news that Our Hidden Gem is on track to enrich our lives.

Special thanks to @ hingdog for posting his subjective opinions about the people who had been in HGO for 8 years which led me to do the maths and have another achievement to celebrate.

@ hingdog whilst I haven't looked at the others in your list, wasn't ALU a steal at 9 c. I'm hoping HGO or VMT will take number one spot from MDL in my best bets score sheet MDL, SBM, ALU.

Apologies to @ Fuch for my mistake in thinking that @Hingdog was the one you found thinking too hard and resorted to judging. It was such a natural fit to the subject.

Hot copper should have separate forums for
* day traders, who, as @ Fuch pointed out in his rice traders , three wise monkeys post shouldn't waste their time reading economic stuff.
* value investors who don't give a rats about where the SP is headed in the next half hour or days ahead.
* old blokes who are playing with spare cash and like to have a bit of fun taking the piss in both its forms.

@HIO Thanks for reminding us of the pre trader days when there were only a handfull of value investors trapped in the lobster pot having fun sharing their opinions and experiences . It's a shame that the commitment we made to meet at the marble bar in 2022 when the debt funding was approved was thrown out with the funding when the copper price crashed.

I did attend the Noosa Mining conference with two mates and at Lunch Lachlan told us he was disappointed that the bigger get together lunch had been cancelled.

Don't forget the one who dies with the most toys wins and keep in mind the warriors drinking song.

Sad to say I have taken the decision to sell my old boat which I have owned for more than half my life because of the need to manage the risk of falling after crushing two vertebrae on separate occasions in the last two years.
Plenty of great memories in the memory bank.
