You know when a bitter pill is hard to swallow what do you do with it? What does John Mieshiemer do with it? He sugarcoats it. You can choose to believe what you want but I refuse to believe that the American foreign policy experts innocently did not understand what any child would understand particularly since they were repeatedly being told by the Russians and by many of their own experts that this was going to provoke a war with Russia.

America never gets punished for its war crimes even though since WW2 no other country has committed more war crimes against the peoples of the world than America. It's been non-stop. And one reason they're not punished is because they pretend they are innocent babes when it suits them. In the late 1950s America started sending "military advisors" (familiar term? They're pulling the same stunt in Ukraine today) to Vietnam because the Vietnamese people weren't allowed to sort out their differences themselves. NO! The country that is now telling us that Ukraine is not allowed to be interfered with by Russia because its a sovereign country that has a right to do whatever it wants within its own boarders. Not so Vietnam. The North Vietnamese were communists and America decided that they are not allowed to have communism. Years later we're told by Macnamera (the then Sec of state) that it was a simple misunderstanding on America's part. America destroyed that country (the good guys who just continually make innocent mistakes) and still says nothing about paying the billions in reparations they surely owe that country for the incredible destruction and death they visited upon Vietnam for over a decade. And thats just 1 in a thousand examples since WW2. If there is a god he does NOT bless America.
