Yeah, that argument "bookkeeping error" did work for Al Capone and it didn't work for Trump either. How many times do you think Trump and his family will try using that excuse? Didn't they try that last year when they lost the other case for business fraud? They were convicted in that case also weren't they?

The funny thing is no matter how many times they get caught breaking the law and no matter how many times they get dragged before a court and no matter how many times they get found guilty Trump and his people still trot out the same old lines about "book keeping errors", "nothing to see here", "witch hunt", "Look at Biden", "the dog ate my homework" etc.

You would think that they must be on the 15th set of new lawyers now. Why change lawyers each time if you are just going to recycle the failed defense from the last court case that you lost? 100% of jury members knew it was BS but an endless line of high priced lawyers couldn't find a single piece of evidence or a witness to defend him? Even Trump himself didn't think he could defend his own behavior and decided not to testify.

Honestly if you got a bunch of primary school kids together surely they could have come up with something more imaginative than what Trump's team come up with in their own defense.

But the funny thing is despite all of this some still believe he didn't do it. Actually this might not be true. Probably more accurate to say some don't care that he did it and just want to see Trump keep behaving like a spoilt brat and trying to destroy the rule of law.
