    Hi Inkblot,
    Further to a previous post.

As quite a few have commented the combination of mag/gravity and surface smoke represent a tantalising target.
Comparison to EH. So far I mainly see the shape of the EH deposit as a close likeness. Mag and Gravity said to be similar by those who have access to ?in house EH data.
Also as others have mentioned they have been "burned" when the drill bit came up blank, includes me a few times.

Having watched the various presentations there is a lot of the normal hype about a good target with the caveat that surprises can happen in the negative sense as well as the positive. IMO the negative would give a steep drop in SP (say <=50% given RNX is not a one trick pony though a lot of creds would be used up with a full on duster). The Positive side one can dream about. Enough for me to pick up a small parcel being willing to accept the loss if it does not pan out.

Very subtle activity at the probable Mongoose Deeps drill site. I scaled the location from a company announcement and the result was a close match for the site picked from the above time lapse. Not perfect but suspect the site circled below and on the compilation map below is accurate for current purposes.

False colour reflects the post wet vegetation.

Compilation of magnetic and gravity plans - georeferenced in QGIS with uncertain accuracy. Looks OK for HC.

Mag(yellow outline magenta fill)/Gravity(High (red)/shoulder (white)/basic drilling on Google earth.
Green triangles early drilling (MX series), White RNX 2023.

Preliminary gravity partially overlaps the magnetics but may be offset as well. Suspect a gravity inversion model will be done in due course if not already. See comments below.

The "distortion" created by the projection of the 3d magnetic inversion to surface has been taken into account for with the DDH. It is not huge but I was a bit surprised that the plunge is NW and not NE.

Comparisons have been made between EH and Mongoose deeps. I have looked for EH data to compare but not been satisfied with what I have seen. Anybody have some good mag and gravity images that are in the public domain? Thanks for sharing if you are willing to do so.

Broad TMI grey scale of EH. No shortage of magnetic highs, at least at this scale. I expect many of these highs have been visited by exploration crews and perhaps drill rigs. Implication for the Mongoose Deep anomaly to just be another boring geophysical feature that has some Cu teasers at best???????

Problematic to get high resolution geophysics over active mine sites with cultural anomalies and removal of ore and waste. Ditto over Cloncurry town site.

Regional magnetics in the EH and Cloncurry general area are rather 'spectacular' IMO. Almost a regional magnetic high.
    Total Magnetic Intensity RTP.

Background magnetics are generally high. Some broad features visible but further processing and or the expense of additional data collection at closer spaced intervals. First vertical derivative of the above.

Making an obvious connection between EH and Mongoose requires quite a stretch of imagination with the "worms" on this image. IMO. Same area separated by some 40 Kms.
Fuzzy around Cloncurry (low resolution survey from cultural anomalies?). Bit fuzzy at EH as well as some other areas so may not be for same cause as Cloncurry.

Easy to understand why RNX are drilling this anomaly with Government support.

[In WA the return on investment from similar support has been calculated at some 30Xs. This rather surprising statistic (several years old now and needs confirmation) reflects the return from 1 success out of many dusters and/or technical successes.]

The Paterson province in WA hosts the Havieron Au/Cu gravity mag target that took a while to prove up as a mineral deposit, but finally was.

Mag and gravity at Havieron are slightly offset though not perhaps as significantly as at Mongoose. My suspicion is the high grade crescent at Hav gives the main mag signature but the overall breccia zones the gravity.

Since 2018 (and before) a significant number of magnetic+-gravity anomalies have been tested in the Paterson with no reported success.

Geophysical and all remotely generated targets need drilling to confirm. Most will be dusters or teasers to technical success.

If Mongoose deeps is a winner then expect a lot more exploration geophysics and drilling in the Cloncurry area.
