Yes, true. However I expect improvements in EV battery efficiency to increase much faster than ICE efficiency.

You have to be kidding. Give me any relevant improvement made for ICEs that cannot be replicated in EVs.

Recently a burglar broke into our apartment block's car park - there was a single EV - a Tesla - it recorded what happened and the police nabbed him. None of the other 30 ICEs could have done that.
