ICE vehicles simply cannot compete in the long term due to mechanical engines. Their indeed have no improved for decades.

Too many people, especially old people, suffer from myopia. Looking forward decades down the track, not only will EVs will become mainstream but there will also be flying taxi EVs and electric commercial airliners.

This is 100%. The question is when.
