2 levels of appeal to get through and then the SCOTUS gets to hear it if they so chose. They won't have to look at facts of the Stormy case necessarily (per recent Immunity) so Trump has a potential pathway to have conviction overturn.

BUT this won't happen before Nov 24 so election result becomes even more critically for him and his rusted on supporters of systematic bigotry, fake narratives, no policy and no personal shame.

MAGA supporters won't benefit under Trump at all but they will feel vindicated if he did win despite the present facts - Biden passed more legislation than any admin since FBJ, record high US oil production, lower crime rates in all major cities (NY down 82%), historically low unemployment including blue collar (via Infrastructure Act), people can still drive cars, have greater access to affordable health care (via Inflation Reduction Act), DOW at record highs, inflation trending down.

So US gets to decide in November whether it no longer wants to become a more considered, progressive and enlightened society (under Obama and Biden) or take itself backwards 100 years under Trump to became more autocratic, elitist and isolationist.
