The 2010 Nissan Leaf had a range of 73 miles.

His claim holds up fine.

620 mile batteries have been available in some sedans in China since late last year. Not in Australia yet.

1200 mile batteries have been demonstrated and will find their way into consumer vehicles in about 2 years (in my opinion).
