I suspect we all knew from the behavior that he showed during the last election that "losing" wasn't something that he would accept.

Like a child his first reaction was to cheat and try and exclude voters from voting if they were likely to vote against him. Then when that didn't work he started trying to intimidate others to cheat for him and "find the votes" to get his score up. When that didn't work he tried to claim that others were cheating and came up with silly stories to try and have the outcome which was going against him put in doubt. That didn't change the outcome so he tried to find ways to just stay in office despite the outcome and just not accept the people's vote. He then tried to stop the result being ratified through intimidation of the price president and ultimately through physical violence at the hands of his mob at the capital.

None of this really stopped when he was finally removed from the premises so any thought that he wouldn't be scheming to come back and take control is to forget who he is and what he is about. His final weeks and months in office were a revolving door and more and more unhinged individuals who he thought would be willing to do what the previous person refused to do for him. It was a race to the bottom to find yes men who would be willing to do any bidding he wanted to stay in power at all costs.

Do you think once he was finally ousted that more and more of these bottom feeders with lower morals than your average bacteria were not attracted to him and him to what they would be willing to do for him? This has been brewing for a long time. Losing is not something he will accept. We know that. The entire world saw it first hand. He wants to rewrite history for his own ego and if he wins we know that he will not and cannot accept the inevitable loss that would follow. The loss that always follows when a change is required.
