Your assessment of the relationship is counter to evidence though, Xi goes out of his way to give a warm friendly reception to Putin and cold shoulder to Blinken and 10% Joe Biden.
I think the US seeks to provoke China via Taiwan. Europe is destroying itself - no cheap russian energy just expensive US energy. US hoped Russia would be isolated but the world has changed and dollar is in decline, US hoped Russia would be destabilised by NATO expansion but Putin is firmly in control
US hegemony is the goal. Current strategies to maintain hegemony are failing IMO sanctions dont work, military capacity is degraded, US image of itself as a great power is not matched by reality since the mid 90s. Its still powerful, just a great power in rapid decline financially, politically, militarily and culturally.
