Yes I understand the same. Whenever I see reference to 'major concentrate/commodities trader' then I am quite sure it must be Trafigura who are now doing final DD to see if they give us a large pre-payment for concentrate sales from NS that would ideally fund 75%+ of NS development costs. It would be nice even to have a MoU or something for now to formally give the market confidence that such a major group is interested and carrying out final DD. Having Trafigura validate the project would do wonders for the market cap imo.
Then the second aspect which I think will come later with the primary objective of funding LD will be to sell down 33% of MLV (so there will be 3 partners at 33.33% each) rather than 50/50 between AAU and the Cuban Government. To me, this investor could be anything from another mining company to a dumb money investor who wants to cash the cheques once the mines are developed. Maybe this will be the European investor that has been alluded to a few times.
A good announcement to finally show that the government negotiations have concluded and we can move forward now to bring partners in.
