No you would pay .01 for the new option and more than likely it would be exercisable at the same price as the current bhpob.
but yes why would 50%of shareholders vote for that because with the bhpobs cancelled the risk of dilution is greatly reduced .
it will just be too bad for option holders if it’s not approved in time to put them in the money
