What sounds better: a $30 offer when you are at $26, or a $30 offer when the stock is acting erratically and is back to $19.

I think Little T mentioned a 'softening up' - I think he is exactly right: the primary motive create fear and doubt so that $30 and the eventual $40 that comes seems like a generous, god-send when really $80-$100 was the right sort of money all along. Could go lower yet if UBS is actually playing a short hand for someone. There is now a complete disconnect between ever improving fundamentals and the share price. That's not right, not how it should work. So it suggests something else is at play. I expect every psychological pressure point in the book to be played as we get to the pointy end.

I just know what I know about Neuren after close to 12 years, including the value in what it holds, and I won't be turned from that. An offer at $30 would be somewhat insulting, but it's just the pressure being brought to bear. Bought more today at $18.55.
