in my view, SM had only a couple of options regarding the long awaited PPSA. 1) do nothing 2) do marketing pieces & speculate on dates etc (which they chose) 3) outline the actual process to legislation (opaque as it maybe)
I think he should have chosen 3 …. And he could have updated market on where it is…. Ie next stage is to be debated in parliament (no dates) etc etc, each step would have been milestone and would have been positive for SP. We now await the Big Bang announcement.
As shareholders we are all guessing and doing detective work on what stage we are actually at.
I have seen option 2 done even in Aus…. Governments get the shits and go even slower when u try and pressure of embarrass them, they like to remind company who the big dog is.
as counterintuitive or immature as that is …. That is governments.
