Why haven't any of the electricity generators been talking about nuclear now or in the past ?
Why continue this illogical argument?
Its been answered conclusively. They are unable to invest or plan for nuclear energy due to the legislative prohibition on nuclear energy in Australia.
First step. Remove the legislative prohibition.
How will a baseload nuclear plant compete with renewables when a mature coal fired plant can't in 2024 ? How will a baseload nuclear power plant operate in this market where it has to ramp up and ramp down daily ?
It wont ramp up and down, it would provide 90%+ uptime. You know the answer to this question, which is why you fight nuclear so much, because it will see large scale renewable investment decreasing.
