Agreed. Directors saw a big fat paycheck and took it. What does that tell you about their perceived future value of the shares?
I know the second reason why... The directors had options that they were desperate to keep in the money by the expiry date. They took an approach that "limited dilution to shareholders" as a way to avoid a discounted CT which was likely to negatively impact the SP as is typical with a large capital raise.
