Just a question, I bought at 5.3c, and now my holdings probably won't even cover the brokerage fees. If it becomes zero, even though i have no profits to claim, can it at least sit on the books as a taxable loss if by some miracle any shares I may ever buy in future may rise? Or if it becomes zero, is it just a dead loss? I'm just in a sort of bemused state after such a good piece of news over 2 years ago when they found good assays, and then the geologists screwed up and found it wasn't what it actually was. Share price halved that day and has gone down. Looking at my Westpac app, just 9M shares on the buy side at 0.1c, and 45M shares on the sell side.
Am i best to 'sell' and just use that phantom $1000 loss that i spent on them over two years ago?
To be honest my sentiment is just bemused, as I doubt any holder would be wanting to sell at such a big loss if they had a holding much more than I.
