Hopefully the only similarity to the (very) smelly VLA takeover will be the share price suppression that (definitely) occurred prior to the VLA offer and may be happening here.
IMO, apart from that the situation is like chalk an cheese. We have a far more valuable and advanced platform and won't be doing a totally unnecesary large placement to a vulture organisation at a moderate premium to the existing SP, after it had been gradually trashed over the preceeding months - that was money for jam. Our management is better than that.
