You seem to be a bit slow, and the dots need joining together for you?
A pure EV will require significantly more lithium compared to a hybrid with a much smaller battery.
How could you not know this???
More hybrid vehicles sold = less pure EV vehicles needed = much less lithium (and other harmful toxic chemicals required)
We already have a glut of lithium, reflected in the depressed pricing and company values.
And with Li-S and Sodium-Ion batteries coming out, there will be even less lithium required in the near future.
But just ignore all the latest research (and warning signs)... she'll be right mate.
