North of Port Douglas is a town called Mossman.
I stayed there in a hotel while we built the Silky Oaks Lodge. The food was great and that is what I like best about country hotels.
If I was to go back to FNQ for a visit , I would think about staying in Mossman, and travel around from there.
(I can't remember the name of the hotel, otherwise I would mention it.)
