Before playing this ASX game for real (yet still only as a wealth generating hobby) I tracked recommendations from Morningstar/Huntleys Your Money Weekly (amongst others) for over 16-18 months.
Excluding blue chips, if I'd blindly followed those recommendations I'd have hardly a dollar left in the kitty to play with.
For mine, & in my experience only, brokers and their recommendations on higher risk stocks are best taken with a large dose of salt. Dartboards appear to offer better outcomes.
