Back a day or to ago I was something of an expert in exchange traded options and short term broker issued options
I mad good money trading.
Later on CFDs replaced these instruments .
I made quite a few bob there as well because originally the brokers and punters did not know how to value them.
But they eventually woke up
And the CFD issuers now screw everybody!
So I stopped trading them.

Back to the VRX company issued options .
For each of these options to be converted to a share,
VRX the company had to receive the full option conversion amount.
I thought at the time it was a brilliant move by the VRX directors to convert their options into shares and and so doing put funds intoVRX
The directors got their shares
VRX got the conversion cash
a win/win
