Look up the definition of ignorant - you should NEVER compare ignorance with willful stupidity?
The fact that you draw a comparison is sad and does indicate a lack of understanding of the English language.
People are ignorant because of conditioning, lack of education or apathy etc.
The fact that I use the word ignorant is technically a truth. Being ignorant should NEVER be seen as negative, but a positive because ignorance can be cured by educating yourself!
