You are making a moral arguement against fossil fuels and state that the moral solution is solar, wind and batteries.

If you follow this through a moral path you should understand your flawed logic:

1) Australia almost exclusively buys its replaceables like wind, solar and batteries and their components from China

2) China is run by a brutal regime that enslaves over a million people that make many of these replaceables and executes its own people and removes their capacity for free speech.

3) the right to life and freedom is the inalienable right of every human being and removing it is morally wrong

4) therefore your replaceables are morally wrong.
