I placed a red circle around the energy density - it shows that the sodium battery is a long way from being adopted in most EVs.
The red square might seem to show a problem for Li-ion - but note that in the worst case, 2000 deep cycle discharges, at one a week, would last 40 years anyway.
Somehow you convinced yourself that the sodium battery is a disaster for Li-ion. Quite the opposite - they will make it cheaper for home solar systems to store excess energy, and make it more practical for people to charge their EVs at night. Also they will make it cheaper for servos along the highway to have a small solar farm and batteries to recharge travellers.

a 10kW solar system requires 80 sq m space, and in most places in Australia generates 35kWh/day or 245kWh per week. That is enough to fully charge 4 EVs per week, with a range of over 400km.
Our current supply from the grid and power board can support 5-6 EVs. Currently there is only 1 EV in the building but people have expressed interest in getting one.
This means we can install one or two 10kW systems and (sodium?) batteries in stages every few years as people switch to EVs. This is much more cost effective than upgrading the grid supply line and power board (which has to be done in one go and would have an upfront cost of close to half a million dollars - hence impossible to even contemplate getting started). Eventually, we can place at least 12 such systems and support over half the cars in our building as EVs. This would surely cover our needs for at least 10 years - during which time many tech advancements will happen.
You are stuck in your old ideas and you are incapable of understanding that there are much smarter people than you that can solve problems and seize new opportunities. Because that is what is happening here - there is a new golden opportunity for everybody.
