re: tsunami not god, just nature
why do people have to blame religion for everything that happens the earths crust moves all the time, and will move again, and there will be earthquakes and other things as a result of this.......................
god has nothing to do with it
scientists can predict the earthquakes, it is all there in the history and geography of the past, so they can assume the same situation will occur again in the future
they knew 2 hours before the tsunami hit but who were they going to call.........
apparently some were warned. but the idea of panicking some holiday makers and losing some tourist dollars they said nothing
and almost all animals give a warning signal but who is listening ....................
now they are saying they us, oz etc have the technology to do it, but the islands are in 3rd world countries and they (they other countries) do not have the money to hook up to the warning signals,
don't mobile phones work there or no satellite coverage ????
well compare it to a simple 'life savers' on our beaches and shark watches, even kids recognised the tsunami was coming..................
how many dogs hide, or run away when they hear thunder, and crackers..and fireworks.................. yet the same sound from a stockwhip or similar and they have no problem with it, might be clue to watch the dog's behaviour
mammals beaching themselves is now considered to be related to siesmic testing underwater, and or, under sea earth quakes
nature and man, made the mistakes that contributed to the magnitude of this disaster
we would be all better off to focus our knowledge and help toward helping the survivors, and reducing the cost of life for when the next disaster happens.
my view only. no religious or political or any other motive cheers
