It is a condition that the EPA has to approve the mine before any loan from the EFA can be assessed/approved. This is in the EFA legal requirements.
Renascor had to wait for their epa sign off as well before the 185 million loan was finalised.
Off memory they had it conditionally approved about 10 months before the SA EPA sign off.
