KIK official confirmation that they acidised the swell packer... NDO quite defensive about it too...
Challenge will be getting the old completion out of the ground - they will need to burn over the old swell packer with a washpipe and there is a good chance that they will twist off the 2-7/8" liner when they get 95% over the packer and it starts to turn with the wash pipe. Fishing the remaining liner may be quite difficult then.
Still have the options if that happens but appetite to continue might be diminishing.
