@Mainline1 Thanks - I have realised this, used to think 'they are harmless "i . . . ts" - but there is something happening in the Western World which is a little less benign - and it has happened before, and probably back in history as well.
If an untruth is repeated often enough, people will take it for the truth, because they are too lazy to do the querying, the checking.

The real bad joke developing is that IF the Right-wing movements in Europe, the West in general gain power, then: in Europe they are inclined to make deals with Russia - take a look at Victor Orban, check what is going on in Serbia - Germany probably won't buckle, but in essence 'would-be-dictators' are prepared to make a deal with the devil in order to confirm their position in power.

The world is not in a good place right now and good people need to be on the alert and need to call out the b...sh artists or those just talking to make themselves feel important.
