The Presidency of France comes with enormous powers ---------- power to over ride Parliament by getting a Prime Minister to use 49.3 when instructed.

And the President has the sole power to pick the PM and dismiss them instantly at will - and pick another one who will do their bidding

how is it possible to be a lame duck with such power? ----------- don't avoid the question, because if you think it's possible - there's a hell of a lot of people who would like to know
