My view is that the company can and should do more to keep the level of angst at bay by utilising the many tried and trusted measures that other companies utilise.
Namely, they could put out regular and informative presentations that address the questions around engagements and the expectation of revenue. I remind all readers that it was management that placed the ticking timeline on revenue and that it wasn't some unreasonable shareholder or group of shareholders that initiated this.
They could also utilise better writing skills to issue more wholesome comments associated with the 4C. Most companies use this to inform shareholders about more of the goings on inside the company they are invested in rather than the bare minimum we receive. This would go a long way to reassuring shareholders that they are in safe hands.
These are just two very simple solutions that would help immeasurably.
Oh, other than actually going out and roadshowing to both Australian and International professional Investors!
