Round 14 and the Origin period is a distraction for the Players playing in it and backing up in the NRL rounds. imo
Cronulla outplayed a Broncos side who missed having Walsh at the back. Cost them any chance. imo
Once the Origin series is over then we can focus on what teams can win the G.F.
What I look for is sides peaking in the last few weeks of the Rounds.
Watching Cronulla atm and I'm of the opinion they have peaked too early and thats my reasoning for suggesting they cannot win the GF this year.
They are playing now at a level where I cant see improvement. Long way to go to the Finals and therein is the problem for the Coach.
He will need to freshen his players up come the last few rounds?
I'll eat humble pie if I'm wrong and will pay through my pocket as well. !
At full strength Penrith, Broncos, Roosters and Melbourne are in front of the Sharks.
