I agree, Nic really should have let this cat out of the bag much sooner.
Market communication has certainly slipped over these last few months/weeks.
Having said that I'm sure Nic and the ALK team can turn this baby around, I'm genuinely positive about their new 5-year LOM, crossing fingers that it will pack a few surprises.
I will not be surprised to see a delay in open pit mining, in fact, I think the market could view that as a very favourable outcome.
