I think I'm with LD99 on this one SF. The salaries are what's burning money and causing the need for capital raising that leads to dilution. The activities you mentioned don't burn money, they prevented or postponed money coming in.
I'm also not sure about the share price supression theory, the share price seem's to have fallen due to people selling because of poor outcomes. I supect the increase in custodial holdings is just many people in the retail market using brokers to buy small to medium quantities because AAU looks cheap.
What data do you have that indicates that one or a few a substantial holders have the size of their holdings hidden by having another party hold them?
