No, you are dumbing it down to that. There is a possibility the reporter made a mistake. There are a range of things people can do including asking questions.

I'm not - you are throwing up false dichotomies. I am saying Australian's should be able to get answers on whether a reporter has misquoted or accurate quoted a CEO of an ASX listed company when the quote is as important as this. Reasonable people reading those articles could conclude a great deal more than they would have gotten from reading just MSB annoucements to the ASX
