The Albanese Government has announced an additional $10 million will be provided by Australia to tackle the “catastrophic humanitarian situation” in the Gaza Strip.
Labor frontbencher Dr Anne Aly announced the funding while visiting Jordan for peace talks on Wednesday.
“We thank Egypt, Jordan and the United Nations for bringing the world together in support of civilians in Gaza. The suffering of Palestinian civilians cannot continue,” she said.
As Minister for Youth, Dr Aly has represented Australia in place of Foreign Minister Penny Wong.

Hamas is in total control of everything that happens in Gaza
All aid is vetted and sometimes looted by Hamas.
