I never said the grant wasn't a good thing mate. I'm simply replying to the implication of your statement, that the CEI approving the application gives them some sort of "extra" credibility - I realise you didn't state that exactly, but it is how I comprehended it when you said:
"... and that the panel determining worth projects to financially support (CEI) ok'd a grant of $300k towards drilling what is hoped to be its core."
May have been miscomprehension on my end.
