Hemp was federally legalised back in 2018. A lot of hemp companies have switched to synthesizing THC from hemp-derived THCA and releasing products to get you high. If there was demand for hemp fibre why switch to making these products? The recent amendment to the farm bill (approved by House) will ban all synthetic cannabanoids if passed and hemp industry lobby groups are saying this will kill off the hemp industry. Once again, if there was large demand for hemp fibre why would this kill off the hemp industry? Food for thought.
