Painfully hilarious.

As for the "rest", these people are all nominated by either the ELECTED governments of each member state, or by the ELECTED EU MP's or by the ELECTED heads of state for each member state.

That means anyone in the EU bodies either went through an election of their own or were nominated by someone who went through an election of their own. All the nominations are then confirmed by other ELECTED officials.

Exactly how a functioning democracy would work.

You WIN your ELECTION you get to nominate representatives to various EU bodies. You LOSE your election you don't get to nominate any representatives to various EU bodies.

You really know your stuff.
