I’m not confused. Just trying to clear up misinformation.
Some are claiming the shorts have nearly halved from a high of 125M (19%) to now 10%. However the shorts are still around 110M….only a decrease of 12% from the Feb high…not nearly half. The reason 110M shows up as 10% total shorts on shortman is because total shares have increased from 675M in Feb to over 1B now, so as a % of total shares, the shorts appear to have halved but it’s really only a 12% decrease from previous high of 125M.
Basically some short covering perhaps but hardly the scramble to cover.
