Pretty sure the fine has been paid and actions have been taken by WBC, like not allowing third party software service companies to make payments and do transfers - in short if you want to take money in or out of a WBC bank account the transaction must be handled by WBC at all levels - whereas previously a 3rd party service could do the transaction on behalf of a client - without the same balances and checks that a bank would have in place.
I know this because we had to change our ERP software to work with WBC for direct debits and not the solutions provider we previously used. We asked WBC why the change and they stated to meet their obligations around laundering etc. (this was at least 2 years ago).
I think this whole thing is now ancient history - move on JCOURE you have milked this for all its worth.
