The policy the Baptists are referring to is doing the IVF...ie, for the challenged,,,,that is before the process of fertilization

When do I think life begins?
Some form of life begins at fertilization.
In a perfect world that is when the human life is seen to begin
We are far from a perfect world and generally, we arent aware of fertilization and pregnancy for say 4-6 weeks.

In this far-from-perfect world, I see the arguments of the different stages of "life" commencing.

For mine, a heartbeat is clearly a juncture when everyone should agree the entity in the womb is alive". For many, and probably for mostly selfish reasons, they would chose to see that as maybe alive but not yet a human being.

At 12 weeks...there's no doubt we have human being developing. The baby is fully formed. Its got all its organs, muscles, bones, arms and legs, nervous system & sex organs...all well developed. From there the baby just grows & matures....might be moving then as well

From there, if you destroy that entity...you're killing a human being. It ain't a bird. It ain't a fish. It ain't a giraffe....or anything else. So if not that, what is it?

And anyone who has had a child and at 12 weeks seen the images and felt the movements who doesn't think and feel they are carrying "a child"..theyre lying to themselves or a barbarian

Now Ive answered you...when do you see life beginning?
