Hello. Aren't the chinese ionic clays around 500-2000ppm, producing 35% of chinese REEs and 80% of global HREEs? At least that's what I read here: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-020-17801-5
No doubt they have much lower costs in China, with less regard to the environment. But the West is increasingly looking to protect itself from this kind of low cost competition, which implies that at some point something will have to be done to tilt the economics towards projects running at higher cost.
