For mine, this is further evidence of Israel's continued encouragement of an enemy. Without a vibrant enemy, there is no threat, without a threat, there is no room for a false flag attack. Without the false flag attack, there is no scope to go into Gaza.
Furthermore, Netanyahu and Israel have a history of this sort of behaviour. The Clean break memo of 1996 was written for Netanyahu, and refers to how a calamitous attack serves in changing public opinion and provides a mechanism to justify war to a population. The authors of this memo went on to work in the Pentagon during the Bush administration and, post 9/11, oversaw the Iraq invasion based on Israel's WMD propaganda.
