"Power-hungry" - does spring to mind when considering Rudd's removal from the top job.
"Dictarorial" - This is what showed up on a google search of the word: Dic-ta-ro-ri-al / Adjective 1. Of or typical of a ruler with total power. 2. Having or showing a tendency to tell people what to do in an autocratic way.
