It's a good thing because it creates a bad look in the market, but in this instance the new chair is far better placed to lead the business to the outcomes they're seeking, and I suspect he's off the Board because some people say he's a lazy WOFTAM. (A little like things got much better at RAC when the previous Chair was replaced and the organisation refocussed on shareholder value.)
