It was not your typical attack though.

Iranians were making a mockery of Israeli defence capabilities and showing it to the world, you know this much, don't you ?

They would tell Americans and Isrealis something to this effect:
Guys, we are gonna be firing such and such rockets in precisely 7 hours and we'll be targeting such and such location - so get your $hit ready. Then they fire as communicated.
Then, again, for a change we are gonna be firing in 4 hours this many obsolete 7 years old rockets that even Russia didn't want for free from us, so get ready, boys. Then again they fired as communicated.

This is how it went. They kept Americans in the loop at all times and told them that they weren't gonna inflict any damage in any other areas than indicated.

And then comes the most juicy bit - gee, don't you just LOOOOOVE these Iranian dudes' style? - they said that in 24 hours we are gonna fire our ballistic missiles - not the latest ones, but older models, which are still good - at Nevatim airbase where Israelis keep F35i stealth fighter jets - top of the range and very expensive. The Iranians gave our Jewish friends the exact locations of expected hits so that they could move their gear away and intercept these ballistic missiles.

Guess what?
The Israelis could not intercept even single one of these ballistic missiles heading towards Nevatim - all hit their targets (as communicated to the Israelis) except for one rocket that missed its target by a few meters.

Israelis then understood who they were against and that their cheap a$$ Iron Dome wasnt' good enough.
One last thing - Iranians spent on this whole operation $40M, our Jewish friends $1.32 Billion !!!
WOW !!! What a swap ?!
What the Israelis have never told the world is that nearly all of the rockets fired by Iranians were intercepted by the US.
