    I guess it depends on how long you expect this war to
    last. As I indicated above E50 Billion pays the Ukraine's 2024
    budget deficit for this year and IMO if the UAF wants to push back
    the UAF rather than currently conceding territory it will have to simnifically
    up the anti which means doubling the budget deficit...again IMO.

    That's about $170 Billion a year

    The question has to be asked: If this war lasts say 5 years more
    how much can NATO members afford to donate while at the same time
    keep their respective economies out of recession.

    At present the UK, France , Italy , Germany are on the brink of recession just to mention a few.

    NB: Growth for 2024/2025 in some cases half inflation ....so net negative growth.
    This is why there is a pronounced working class shift to the Right across Europe
    which is anti this war spending .

    The French and UK elections will follow the Italian shift to the Right, IMO,
    which is bad news for Ukrainian war donations. There is a distinct difference
    between RW Populists and RW Libertarians here, IMO.
