My comment that communism does not work relates to the pure ideals of a communist party
IMHO China is at a fork in the road, it can continue to follow it's dictatorial path and slowly disintegrate as the people become disenchanted and demoralized or it can become more capitalistic and free the people
All systems have to change to grow and the seeds of Chinese destruction are already apparent in the looming housing industry collapse plus other factors
As I have previously stated that IMHO communism is good when everyone has nothing but when that changes communism ceases to work
I am not a fan of the USA foreign policy actions or their bull in a china shop type of attitude but the USA has it's problems and China has it's as well
Look at the UK, a shadow of it's former glory IMHO due to the adoptions of socialist, communist policy in the 60s and the move away from the independence of a free capitalistic society
If Farage does not win the next election the UK is doomed
As to Australia's shift away from free capitalism they will go the same way and will never recover
